EAA Chapter 72 is dedicated to promoting recreational aviation, building experimental aircraft, and inspiring young people in the Colorado Springs community. Your donation directly supports our most important mission: youth programming, including Ray & Other Youth Scholarships, hands-on building projects, and flight discovery events.
Ray & Other Youth Scholarships
We proudly participate in the Ray Aviation Scholarship program, providing up to $12,000 per student to help local teens earn their Private Pilot certificates and launch aviation careers. Gifts of $1,000 or more can support a dedicated scholarship that the donor can direct toward any youth educational program of their choosing: A&P mechanic training, Women in Aviation, Sport Pilot Certification, and more.
Chapter 72 Programming
Your donation helps fund core chapter activities including Coffee and Donuts Socials, monthly chapter meetings, equipment and resources for educational seminars, and many other events that strengthen our aviation community at Meadow Lake Airport.
Youth Programming
Help fund our Young Eagles and Chapter 72.5 programs. We subsidize involvement for kids under 18 so every dollar goes directly toward Young Eagles flights, teaching workshops, offsite tours and field trips, and other hands-on events designed specifically for the next generation of aviators.
