Bruce McCombs Chapter âĸ Pikes Peak Region
We are a passionate community of builders, pilots, and aviation enthusiasts dedicated to experimental aircraft building, vibrant local events, and â most importantly â inspiring the next generation through hands-on youth aviation programs.
Based at Meadow Lake Airport (KFLY) in Peyton, Colorado, we welcome everyone who shares our love of flight.
Everything we do supports experimental aircraft builders, strengthens our aviation community, and advances youth programming in the Pikes Peak Region.
We support homebuilders with our Tool Crib lending library, technical workshops, build nights, and a welcoming forum for sharing knowledge and experience.
Our Young Eagles rallies, flight simulator sessions, school outreach, and chapter scholarships introduce young people to the magic of flight and create pathways into aviation careers.
Pancake Breakfast Fly-Ins, social gatherings, and special events at Meadow Lake Airport bring pilots, builders, and families together to celebrate aviation and support our chapter's programs.
Monthly IMC/VMC Club meetings, technical seminars, builder forums, and our chapter newsletter keep members current, connected, and continuously learning.
These upcoming events highlight our commitment to experimental aviation, community connection, and youth programming. Mark your calendars and join us!
Whether you're a builder, a pilot, a parent, or simply aviation-curious â there's a meaningful way for you to support experimental aircraft, community events, and youth programming at EAA Chapter 72.
